Life is life, plant an autumn. Whoever is common or grand cannot escape the rules that one wriggles and cries into the world, grows quickly and dies quietly. What will you leave your posterity when you are old or pass away?-It is really a great problem for us to think it over.
From the remote mountain village, I am affected greatly by my father’s Great Love. My father Zheng Haiyang was fond of the parents, and has selflessly devoted to his neighbors and a lot dedicated to the public good even in the hard times-all makes me worship my father so far and is my urging to the people around me. Indeed it is the truth that the laity leaves material heritages to their new generation while the wise the spiritual ones!
More than ten
years ago, I ventured out on my own. I often think about this question “what
I will leave my posterity”. Some firstly say the money and property are the
best. In my opinion, the money and property can only demoralize the posterity.
This kind of examples can be found everywhere. Obviously it is no good leaving
money and property to the new generations. Some will say that you say in this way for you
are lack of money and property! Well maybe you are right! I have not! However,
what I have is my heritage of fondness of my grandma and grandpa from my father,
my years’ hard graft, the different tastes of my life experiences, and my –which
is worth much more than billions of dollars!
Thus, before my
old age, I will finish to write my memoirs saying all of my life experiences. This
memoirs, like an encyclopedia, will help my decedents
know about my life experiences, and will help them surmount the obstacles in
their life to turn away from the evil way and go the right one, and to save them
a lot of grief! These memoirs, like a mirror, guide them smoothly go forward.—that
is what I want to leave my posterity! That should be the priceless treasure!
